About LOU DEEZI

Combining blunt street storytelling with stylish soundscapes and matter-of-fact cool, Lou Deezi serves up playboy raps with a trace of danger. Since emerging with “WhenSheGone” in 2022, Deezi has used sly songwriting and steely-eyed charisma to become perhaps the most prominent spitter Reno has ever produced. The combination has earned him millions of Spotify streams and status as the West Coast’s next up, a mark he’ll reinforce with “Frenchie,” a playful new single coated in dismissive flirtation and effortless style. With smooth slick talk and speaker-destroying bass, “Frenchie” is another step toward a major level up. It’s one powered by the impulses of an artist who learned to use music as an interpreter for his own feelings. “I can’t explain myself any better way than putting it on a song,” he says. “Being misunderstood is a blessing in disguise, because it motivates me to make music to be understood," says the artist.

His come up began with “WhenSheGone,” a vividly macabre tale of a romance gone violently wrong. Since then, Deezi has only fortified his buzz with projects like Claretha’s Baby, Bloody Tears, Scary Movies, and 2025’s Player’s Diary. With each week, he reaches a new streaming milestone while putting together music — his own hyper-precise self-translator — into mood music for the misunderstood. He’s searching for more level-ups, but he knows he’s in the middle of one. “I'm in a fucking arena performing with artists I grew up listening to and I feel like I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be,” he shares. “Every day I learn something new and things are going up,” he adds. “My biggest moment is right now.”

His next single, "Pressure," blends street appeal with classic Bay Area inspired production. And as Lou prepares for his second headlining tour which starts on April 2026, fans are asking if an album is on the way. For this young star, there is no pressure, only opportunity.
